Our Story
Navigate Maternity was founded by a dynamic team of Black women with over two decades of combined experience in the healthcare sector. We are mothers, godmothers, aunts, sisters, daughters, and friends who understand firsthand the challenges and disparities faced by birthing people, especially within marginalized communities.
We came together, united by a shared passion for maternal health and equity, and complementary skillsets that allow us to navigate these complex healthcare systems. Our mission is to create a safer, more equitable birthing experience for all birthing people in the U.S. We recognize the urgent need for personalized, culturally competent care, and that’s why we built Navigate Maternity – to close the gaps in care, reduce maternal mortality, and ensure every person is seen, heard, and supported throughout their pregnancy journey.
Our platform not only leverages cutting-edge technology but is also rooted in a deep commitment to addressing the systemic barriers that have long underserved communities of color. Together, we are working to transform the maternal health landscape, making it more accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of all.
